Shawn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing inclusive and compassionate care. Originally beginning his healthcare journey as a Behavioral Health Technician at Green Memorial Hospital, Shawn later advanced to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse, where he cared for patients recovering from open heart surgery. However, his true calling in Mental Health led him to pursue a Nurse Practitioner degree in Psychiatric Mental Health from Northern Kentucky University.
Shawn celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an open, collaborative, and welcoming environment for all individuals. He is particularly dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ clients. His empathetic and trust-centered approach ensures that every client feels valued and supported throughout their healing journey. Outside of work, Shawn enjoys spending time with his young family and traveling, broadening his perspective and appreciation for different cultures.
