I grew up in Columbus Ohio and moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati for nursing school. Right out of graduation I took a job at Cincinnati Children’s working in the inpatient psychiatry department where I have been for the past six years. I love to spend my free time being outside, whether that’s enjoying a good cup of coffee, working out, or lying by the pool, you can find me in the sun.  In this role I am passionate about taking a holistic approach and encouraging one to look at the whole picture and take into account how one is eating, sleeping, exercising, what their community and social life looks like, and would therapy be beneficial, all in addition to the use of medication. I am passionate about serving women and supporting them through hormonal changes and love to share how balancing hormones through food, exercise, and rest can improve mental health. I am also passionate about targeting young adults as they are trying to navigate the world. Going to college, graduating, and living on one’s own can be a scary and difficult change that calls for support. When everyone thinks these are supposed to be the best years, struggling through them can make one feel like something is wrong with them. I want to be a support person during those times and help people navigate transitions of life.  I am Interested in targeting anxiety, life transitions, and women’s health holistically and supported by medication.
