Erica is a dual Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in psychiatry and primary care. She can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication across the lifespan. She works with a variety of conditions including, but limited to, depression, bi-Polar, anxiety, mood disorders, insomnia, PTSD, and schizophrenia/schizoaffective.
Erica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University in 2004. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and taught nursing education for many years. She received her post master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Wright State University and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from University of Cincinnati. Erica has worked in a variety of health care settings throughout her career including correctional facilities, community mental health settings, and long-term care centers. Erica is passionate about inclusivity and creating a welcoming environment for her guests. Erica understands that mental wellness is a journey and often recalls on one of Maya Angelou’s famous poems, “Still I Rise” which speaks about overcoming adversity.
Erica enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
