Ellen grew up in Germantown, Ohio. She attended Wright State University for her undergraduate and Northern Kentucky University for her graduate degree. She has worked in nursing since 2018, primarily in critical care and cardiology where coincidentally her interest in mental health was sparked. Deciding she would like to help others in a more proactive way she chose to pursue mental health with an emphasis on a holistic approach. She has a passion for mental health, and a special interest in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD. In her free time she goes to the gym, reads, and enjoys spending time with her dog.
