I am a dedicated mental health Nurse Practitioner with a deeply personal connection to the work I do. Having experienced my own mental health journey, I understand firsthand the importance of compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized care. With over 20 years of nursing experience, I have climbed the ranks from a nurse’s aide to a Nurse Practitioner in various settings. My extensive background includes significant time in ICU settings, which has given me valuable insight into the physical and emotional challenges faced by both patients and healthcare providers. Through my years in healthcare, I have observed that mental health often takes a backseat for nurses and other professionals, despite their vital role in patient care. I am passionate about addressing nurse burnout and promoting mental wellness within the healthcare community. My clinical expertise is with a focus on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and psychosis. I am experienced in all anxiety disorders; PTSD, OCD, social, and generalized. I specialize in trauma-informed care, often the stress and trauma we have experienced in life leads to mental health disorders. I go beyond giving a label to your symptoms by treating the person, with a focus on your personal goals and what kind of life you want to have. I believe in integrating medication management with lifestyle changes, shifting perspectives, and fostering a growth mindset. My approach is holistic, emphasizing the importance of mental health as a key component of overall well-being. Providing personalized, empathetic, and effective mental health services throughout the lifespan is my mission—because mental health is personal, for everyone, including those who serve others
