I completed my undergraduate degree at Cedarville University, earned my master’s degree from Wright State University, and completed my Physician Assistant training at Kettering College. I grew up in a small farming community in southern Ohio. After getting married, my husband and I spent six years in Louisville, Kentucky before returning to the Dayton area, where we have lived for the past nine years.
I have been practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2011. I began my career working in an adult emergency department in southern Indiana for five years. After relocating back to Ohio, I transitioned to a pediatric emergency department.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with my family. I previously played sports competitively and now spend much of my time coaching and cheering on my children from the sidelines. I also enjoy hiking and traveling with my family.
I am passionate about children’s health, family communication, and strengthening the mental well-being of the entire family unit so they can truly enjoy life together. I strongly believe in the power of sports as a healthy outlet for mental health, as well as a tool for building resilience, confidence, and lifelong skills.
