I bring 28 years of nursing experience and a deep commitment to mental health and recovery to the WoodStream Wellness team. A native of Huber Heights, Ohio, I am proud to have returned to serve the community where I grew up after traveling as a nurse for the last five years while attending graduate school. I earned my Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts in 1997, my Bachelor of Science in 2009, and recently completed the PMHNP degree at Northern Kentucky University. I am passionate about helping those with mental illness and substance abuse return to a state of normal functioning. With a background that spans nearly three decades, I am dedicated to meeting the challenges of any patient and am willing to treat all age groups. Outside of the clinic, you might find me pursuing hobbies like sewing or hitting the links for a round of golf. I am an avid sports fan, cheering on the Dayton Flyers Basketball team, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bengals. My approach to mental health care is guided by my favorite quote: “Everyone is here for a reason. Every Life Matters, Be somebody who makes everybody feel like somebody.”
